Governance at NC State: Maintaining Institutional Transparency, Buy-in and Support

Decision-making

NC State has an extensive governance structure that was established to guide the policy of our various supported learning technologies. I will discuss our philosophy, structure, communication strategies and process for making policy decisions for Moodle and the rest of our learning technologies. I'll explain how governance has evolved over the last 7 years, describe the value it has provided, and share some notable accomplishments and failures.
