Creating accessible math contents: approaches and current solutions

Instructional design

Accessibility for math contents is a delicate issue. It involves many choices that are not obvious. We will present the different possible approaches and the choices made by some large technological partners.

Two differentiated use cases should be considered: the display of math formulas by the web browser is the most common situation, but also the accessibility at content creation time needs to be taken into consideration.

We will end with a small analysis of the state-of-the-art in this field.
